In Ireland there are approximately 11 people EVERY day diagnosed with dementia.
Saint Joseph’s is the only home in the country totally and solely dedicated to caring for people living with dementia.
Our vision is to lead the way in dementia care in Ireland.
You can help to make a lasting impact today, tomorrow and long into the future for people living with dementia and their families.
So we’re asking you to support us in whatever way you can.
You can host a coffee morning or a table quiz, what about a tea party or a bridge night? You could event run a marathon, whatever you like, the choice is yours!
Meet Aidan and Jim;
Aidan swam 60 lengths to raise funds for a TrioBike so that our residents can still feel the wonderful feeling of the wind in their hair as they travel around the grounds and neighbourhood.
Jim encouraged his colleagues in Saint Josephs to cycle 100km and raised not only €5,000 but also a lot of awareness throughout the community about the work we do at Saint Joseph’s.
Also pictured is Olympic Cyclist Paul Kimmage who officially launched the TrioBike in June.
Give a gift in memory of someone you love. It will honour their memory and leave a lasting impact to people living with dementia. We are registered with RIP.ie to make it easy for your friends and families to donate to us as well.
Donations in memory of loved ones are very special gifts and, as such, are deeply appreciated by everyone at Saint Joseph’s Shankill.
By supporting us and our vision at Saint Joseph’s Shankill, to lead the way in dementia care and become Ireland’s first dementia village.
You will make a real and lasting difference to dementia care in Ireland.
#dontforget you can contact Siobhan Grant on 01 282 3000 or email her at firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Of course your loved ones come first, but just a small gift in your Will could help provide much needed services for people living with Dementia in South Dublin and North Wicklow
The idea of making a Will is something, which may make us feel uncomfortable. Realistically however, it is something that all of us should do at an early age to ease the burden of the loved ones we leave behind.
A gift left in a Will is simply a means of giving something back. It provides you with the opportunity to ensure that your possessions and finances are divided up according to your wishes. It is about remembering the people and the causes you care about.
After you have thought about the needs of your family and friends, please consider leaving a donation to Saint Joseph’s Dementia Centre in YOUR Will. By leaving a donation in your Will you will be providing much-needed financial support which is vital in providing the compassionate person centred care we are committed to here at Saint Joseph’s.
Leaving a gift in your Will is straight forward and is something that everyone can do. To find out more about how to leave a gift in your Will to Saint Joseph’s Shankill, contact Siobhan Grant (see below)
