How you can help

One in four people in Ireland are affected by dementia in some way.  This number is increasing year on year because as our aging population increases, so too does the incidence of dementia.  In the South Dublin / North Wicklow area, there is estimated to be about 3,000 people living with dementia.  Over the next 20 years the number of people living with dementia will TRIPLE.

Please support us by making a donation to help us continue to expand out dementia village.

Our vision is to lead the way in dementia care in Ireland and become the first ever Dementia Village in the country, where people can live and be cared for in a homelike environment, where their feelings matter most.  Saint Joseph’s is the ONLY care home in Ireland soley dedicated to dementia care.  The first steps in achieving our vision have already been completed.

We are committed to growing our services into the greater community, offering training, dementia education, outreach programmes, early intervention programmes, more day care and respite services and dementia research.

But it is only through the help and support of OUR community and our supporters that we can achieve all we have set out to accomplish.

There are many always to get involved and support us
