Join us on June 15th for

St. Joseph’s Memory Walk

Saturday June 15th:  9am – 1pm (including 20 minute break)

Glendalough – Spinc, Miners Village & Lake (White Route) – 12km – Moderate

Join us for a purposeful walk at Glendalough as we support people living with dementia on June 15th!  Starting at the upper lake car park we will make our way along the lakeside to the miners village, crossing the river we will walk up the boards towards the summit of the Spinc! This ascent is worth every step, with plenty of photo opportunities along this idyllic route. Standing upon the top of this stunning mountain you will be overlooking the lakes below, giving you an exceptional eagle eye view of the historic monastic site of Glendalough, you can even spot deer along the path! The hike then continues down the zigzags towards Poulanass Waterfall, and back to our starting point.

Every step of this 12km hike will help us to improve the quality of life for our wonderful residents and day care members living with dementia!

A fundraising page for your walk will be automatically setup for you on registration. You can choose your own target amount. If you would prefer to donate there is an option there too.
